If you’re attending ConFusion Convention during Janurary 19-22, then join us Saturday, January 21 at 9:00pm in our Penguicon Things room party located on the second floor of the Sheraton, in the party hall. (Room to be announced.) 
The Penguicon ConCom will be serving up fun, games, alcohol, and an epic waffle bites buffet during our party. We’ll also have accessible seating, an Assistive Listening Device on hand at the party for anyone in need, and service animals are welcome!

At the party, you can register for Penguicon 2017, use our laptop to suggest panel ideas, and/or just hang out! We Hate Bards will be hosting D&D games during the party, plus we’ll have other things to do.

Please remember, if you wish to imbibe some of our alcohol, you must bring your current, valid, government ID. And if Alcohol is not your thing, no worries, we will be providing other beverages!

It’s that time, Penguicon! Changing your clocks back one hour and Plans, Ideas, Brainstorms, Concerns, Solutions – in short, it’s the November ConCom meeting.

Anyone can come,(and we’d love it if you do!) listen, offer input, or even become part of our staff. If you want to know more about Penguicon, become part of our staff/volunteers, or just hang with us, here are the details:

Date: November 6, 2016
Time: 2:00pm start
Location: The Westin Southfield Detroit 1500 Town Center, Southfield, MI. 48705 -Board of Trustees room
Who: Penguicon ConCom members, staff, volunteers, members of the Board, interested parties, curious people, anyone, and you!
Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided during meeting.

Hi, Penguicon!

My name is Sarah Lynn and I’m your 2017 Head of Programming! My team and I are excited to stand at the ready for your excellent panel ideas and submissions. We’d like to officially open our 2017 call for panels to everyone, beginner or veteran alike. 

How can you become a panelist at Penguicon? It’s easy. Check out our Programming page for details, or if you’re comfortable, go straight to our Panelist Application form. 

If you have questions about programming, you can always check our Programming FAQ or email me, [email protected] 

Oh, by the way, if you simply want to suggest a panel idea, we have a form for that too!

It’s time, Penguicon! We’ve got info, info, and more info for you.

So you want to come to Penguicon? Check out our Accessibility Pages and if need be, rent your mobility device via our Penguicon Scootaround Rental Portal. Arrange your rental and it will be delivered to, and picked-up from The Westin for your time at the con. 

Then hop on over to our Registration page and pre-register! Why? Hey, our logo’s gone retro and so have our prices!! If you register before April 2, 2017 it’s just $40.00! While you’re there, don’t forget to order your Ribbons! Our ribbon ordering deadline is February 15, 2017, so order now and you won’t miss the deadline!

What’s next?  Book A Room! This year we have two booking options you’ll want to check out, a special request form for those of you with additional room requests, and Room Party information too!

Our Guest of Honor announcements and Maker Market application will be coming soon, so watch for them.  Don’t forget to Join our Mailing Lists so you get every bit of PenguiNews directly in your inbox! You’ll want those emails and get excited, because this year, we’re gonna have an App!
